SInDy sooooo good (week4 of 2020)

In a fleeting moment of bipolar confidence I am going to admit a truism for me, a real truth: I think my inventions are soooo good that the world will find them. An advisor told me this week, as we attended my high school reunion, that she let’s the party come to her. I am inspired. Of course, as I type, I panic and suspect that no one will ever read this; I guess life is a spectrum.

As a part of week4 of the 2020StartUp accelerator I had a 1-on-1 mentoring session with the marketing guru, Mark Gold before he jetted off to Europe for the month. He read back to me some of the verbiage I’d put forth in my CVP and GTM strategy papers. He tossed them aside and dug into my real products and reminded me how proud I am of what my team and I have accomplished. Mark made me exclaim from the rooftop (bar at Hotel Chantelle’s beautiful co-working Kettle Space), “My vision is to create the fastest transfer of rich information in human history!”.

Wow, is that really my plan? Yes, it really sums it up like no lesser Public Relations Guru could. Words are dangerous a wise man once told me and it stuck. Since that day in grad school at Tisch I have begged the universe for better tools to communicate, connect and convince. Better tools to illustrate and illuminate my ideas without text or explanation. The world has been convinced that pics and vids are real-er and tho that can be abused (insert synthetic media example here), for me, the truth is brightest when it is up close, personal and includes all five senses.

As you all know I write about often, nobody tells the whole truth, the operative word being TELLS. Speaking is choked, limited constricted by the conduit of vocabulary and vocal inflection. The only way to fully communicate a rich idea is when you have a bakers dozen of senses (the sixth sense is FEELING) floating around every datapoint. A class or conference room conversation limited to the words from the sage up at the front of the room is ludicrous in this age of wearables and (Mark also challenged me to discontinue use of the word CONNECTION so I will have to test my thesaurus here) technology, as a CEO and visionary begging to communicate with the masses, why would we deprive our audience of the touch, smell, feel and the taste of what we are making???

Limiting our stories to the sounds of the words coming out of our mouths is rediculous!

With Mark’s encouragement, I compiled a list of features and made a one sheeter, put more money on a credit card and filed a provisional patent and wrote this post hoping that the world of collaboration tools would embrace SInDy and see how we are unique in the Project Management eco-system and allow the fastest transfer of rich communication in human history! Here is the short list of features:

Will you come use the products we have designed? I will be here whenever you are ready and thank you for indulging my hubris and arrogance.

Peace,
